Did you remember to Send to Device in order to implement your new configuration?
Any time you make a configuration change to your security device within CSM, you must remember to Save your changes and then send that new, updated configuration to your device in order for those changes to be implemented.
To update your device with the new configuration, simply right-click the device name within the tree-view on the left side of CSM and choose Send to Device from the popup menu that is displayed.
Once your new configuration has been uploaded to your device, it can take
anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes to fully implement and activate
your new device configuration. Also, the process of implementing your new
configuration does not begin until all communications between the security
device and CSM have been completed.

NOTE: Passwords are case-sensitive.
Have you recently tried changing your device Administration password? If so, and if you haven't since uploaded your new configuration via a Send to Device, remember that your security device is still running with your old settings and, thus, your old password. You must use this "old" password in order to upload your new configuration to the device.
If you have forgotten the Administration password for your security device,
your only option will be to reset your device back to factory defaults (if
you're using a GG-EXT or GG-Blade device) or reinstall from the CD (if
you're running GG-OS). You will also need to delete the device
configuration within CSM and start from scratch there as well.

If you are using a GG-OS security device, the default system password upon initial installation (i.e. before configuration) is canada.
If you are using a GG-Blade or GG-EXT security device, the default system password is set to the Serial Number provided with your security device. This Serial Number is also provided on a label attached to the backside / underside of the device.
NOTE: Passwords are case-sensitive.

If you are using a GG-OS security device, you simply need to reboot the system with the GG-OS CD in the CDROM drive and re-install over the existing system configuration.
If you are using a GG-Blade or GG-EXT security device, you must use a Reset
Jumper to reset the device back to factory defaults. This procedure is
illustrated and described on the Before You Begin card that came with
your security device. This card is also provided in PDF format and can be found
within the docs subfolder on the CSM CD.

Either you are using an Evaluation Serial Number of 10 nines (i.e. 9999999999), or you have not yet Activated your security device with NetMaster SafetyNet.
If you are not using an Evaluation Serial Number, you will need to Activate your device with NetMaster SafetyNet using the CSM Activation Wizard (found in the Tools menu) and, once complete, run a Send to Device to upload the activated configuration to the device.
Activating your security device both removes the 60 minute timeout and
authorizes your device to receive software updates via NetMaster SafetyNet.
If you would like more information on the activation process, please contact
support@netmaster.com.
